Camping in Deoria Tal

Deoriatal will never disappoint you in terms of the camping and the views from the lake. Camping here under a star dusted sky makes the mellowest of memories on a trek. The place is perfect for those who want to spend time with nature. It is also a great place for birding for bird watching. This trek can be done almost throughout the year apart from few months of monsoon.

Note: Camping in meadows near Lake is banned. But you can camp few meters away from Deoria tal lake.

Deoria Tal Forest Fees/Entry Fees: This region is a reserve forest area. So there is an entry pass to be made at the start where a forest guard sits. If you take once, you can use it for the entire destination in Kedar Valley Bio Reserve Destinations.

Important Tips for Camping in Deoria Tal:

  • Make sure you carry warm clothes irrespective of the fact that what season you are travelling in.
  • A good pair of trekking shoes is must.
  • A well informed and trained guide is very important.
  • Do not encourage trekking during the nights; this might lead to unforeseen disaster.
  • It is recommended to carry a power bank to recharge your electronic device. Since, there is no electricity up there at Deoriatal.
  • At Deoriatal you may get weak signals of BSNL and Airtel. So make your all important calls in Sari.
  • It is advisable to carry required cash with you during Visit. One can find last working ATM in Rudraprayag.
  • Bonfire is strictly prohibited in Devariataal
  • Hiring a guide is strictly recommended if one is planning a snow trek during winters.

can we stay night camp in deoria tal without prebooking from websites ?
i mean without any guide can we stay there in night ?
